There are a lot of narcolepsy videos, some real and some nothing but narcolepsy jokes.

If you suffer from narcolepsy or know someone who does, you know it’s no laughing matter. But neither is falling down while skiing, but it sure is funny to watch some spills as you ride up the chair lift. That’s why there are so many narcolepsy videos that are just plain funny.

Narcolepsy is a condition that causes someone to fall asleep almost instantly and without warning. It can be a real burden to deal with. Once you have it, you realize how many things you take for granted. It’s a real struggle: You find it difficult to pay attention, you can have trouble learning new things, it’s tough to find and keep a job, communicating is a battle, and believe it or not, and you may actually have trouble with a normal sleep schedule.

Here’s a guy bowling, or attempting to bowl. He suffers from narcolepsy… or does he? Is he for real? Or is he just putting everyone on? Hard to say. I guess you could say that about many narcolepsy videos - are the subjects in them real narcoleptic sufferers?
