For some reason, news reporters just don’t seem to be the sharpest knives in the drawer. It just seems, more often than not, they’re in the wrong place at the wrong time, all in the name of getting the story!

See an excellent example of this in this sledding video. The reporter is at the bottom of the hill. He begins his introduction, and then the snow sledders start their journey down the hill. Watch out there guy - here comes a sledder… Move, now! Ohhhhhhhhh! Too late.

The reporter gets nailed by the sled, and up he goes, head over heals. The amazing flip he does is more the story than the story he’s reporting on for sure!
