Herbal Essence Shampoo For an Invigorating Aromatic Experience in the Shower

To this day, I truly enjoy using herbal essence shampoo, as does the woman in the video below, which shows a funny shampoo commercial.

As a young boy, I took great care of hair, washing with the herbal essence shampoo that belonged to my sister. I used it secretly, mind you! I felt that if anyone knew, especially my sister, I’d be laughed out of the house. As a newly minted teenager, how could I support the “big boy” image I was trying to portray with the use herbal shampoo? Not that I was an excessive groomer. It’s just that I would keep clean by using plain old soap and water, and the cheapest shampoo available in the stores.

Still, I longed for herbal shampoos! These shampoos have all kinds of amazing natural herbal ingredients, like lavender, green tea, rosemary, and sage. I loved the fragrance. It sounds stupidly corny, but I was always captivated by the scent of herbal essence shampoos. Certain smells can transform you to another time and place. It could be a place you’ve been to before but had forgotten about, or a place you’ve never been. Believe it or not, herbal shampoos are made with this very effect in mind. Shampoo herbs are selected in part for their strong therapeutic benefits, or so the shampoo companies like Clairol claim. But that’s not the whole story. With the right combination of herbs, the aroma can be overwhelmingly captivating, even with a singular aroma like coconut (always reminds me of my honeymoon in the tropics!). Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised a bit if you could become addicted to the luscious scent of certain herbs.

Turns out too that herbs can have other positive effects on your hair. Over the years, my hair had become dry, devoid of any hint of oil, as I tried different shampoos, conditioners, and styling mousses, and I discovered that herbal shampoos offer a way to help this condition and restore essential oils for healthy looking hair. One such ingredient in these shampoos is aloe, and it works great to restore hair to a rich texture, far from dry and almost brittle. So, hats off, literally, to show off new, clean, vibrant hair with a great luster and shine, all thanks to herbal shampoos.

What’s more, herbal shampoo companies are adding herbs to their shampoos to help curb hair loss. I haven’t looked into this to find out if it’s true or not, but a friend of mine swears it’s working for him. He was losing his hair at an excessive rate, sporting a noticeably receding hairline of late, getting worse by the month. He started using an herbal shampoo that claimed to cure hair loss and it seems to have restored some of the hair he had lost. Could be, but he may also be secretly using an actual hair restoration treatment in addition to the herbal shampoo. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a recipe to create a home made shampoo with fresh herbs and other ingredients that could also help with bringing back lost hair - something to look into.

Here’s a funny shampoo commercial. Check out the girl in this video using herbal essence shampoo. It’s clear she’s loving every minute of it as she builds up a lather and massages her scalp with the suds. But is it really the shampoo? Watch the for the surprise ending! Very funny.

Next time you need a little excitement in the shower or need to dramatically improve the condition of your hair, try herbal essence shampoo.
