Eliot Spitzer, the disgraced governor of New York, announced his resignation today, taking a severe blow (yes, pun intended!) to his stellar political career amid accusations of his involvement with a high-end call girl ring.
Yet another sex-tinged political scandal in a string of such affairs that have plagued this country over the years! It seems to make this country go round!
Poor (yeah, right!) Spitzer pays the price for allegedly spending February 13, the night before Valentine’s Day, at a high class Washington D.C. hotel room with a prostitute, spending thousands of dollars for the pleasure!
Almost a month to the day later, the guy’s out!
He announces his resignation publicly to his state, nation, and the world today, but he also has to announce it “internally” to his office, staff, and associates.
Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall in his office when that happens!
