The word is out from the Ford Motor Company: There’s a recall on the Ford Mustang.

Got yourself one from the 2005 - 2008 model years? Bring it back! There’s a problem with the front passenger side air bags - they need to be recalibrated. All in all, about 470,000 Ford Mustangs need to be hauled back in to the dealer to have this fixed.

Apparently, there have been no injuries or deaths reported that resulted in the recall. Nevertheless, some recent testing on the Mustang air bags has shown they could injure a small, unbelted passenger.

[ Duh! Air bags are inherently dangerous anyway! Whatever… ]

Too bad about this recall. That means there’s going to be about half a million Ford Mustangs that will NOT be engaged in high speed chases like the one shown in this funny video clip! And with the way these guys are driving, those Mustangs better have proper air bag mechanisms!
