If you want to display the ultimate symbol that the Christmas season has arrived, you can do so with the decorated artificial Christmas wreath. Today is Read Across America day, courtesy of the National Education Association as they pay tribute to not only literacy in general, but to the late, great Dr. Seuss, whose birthday was March 2 (yesterday).
Regular folks and celebrities alike are all participating by reading the great books by Dr Seuss, books like Green Eggs and Ham, and The Cat in the Hat. Of course, any book by Dr. Seuss is a home run - can’t go wrong with any of them! How about Horton Hears a Who?
All across the country today, kids in school are engaged in all sorts of Dr. Seuss activities, inclusing listening to and reading these literary gems, and consuming copious amounts of, yup, you guessed it: Green eggs and ham! (Hmmm, just how are they making the food green?)
To celebrate in my own way here on the Funny Video Clips blog, and because I love Dr. Seuss books myself, here’s a funny video animation classic of Green Eggs and Ham. Watch it, then go read some other Dr. Seuss classics, and then make yourself a nice helping of whatever you want that’s green!
