Ace of Base Don’t Turn Around Parody Video

Bill Nye the Science Guy TV shows rock! And one of the aspects of that show I always used to look forward to is the music video that appeared toward the end of each episode. These videos were parodies of actual popular songs at the time, shortened versions of the original with lyrics modified to reflect the topic of the Bill Nye episode it appeared in. The artist listed in the music video was a play on words version of the actual artist. Overall, very cool, and very funny!

This is one of my favorites from the Germs episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy. It’s a parody of that great hit from the 90’s Don’t Turn Around by Swedish pop group Ace of Base. This song in this funny music video is called Just Wash Your Hands by Dose of Soap.

The singing watermelons are here performing Watermelon Nights…

I know one thing: Anytime I see watermelons singing, bursting out in song, in unison, in a chorus, I just end up… laughing! I think you will too once you see this funny music video of watermelons moving, dancing, and singing.

Out of the school of animation arts, this video is very well done. I can’t imagine the time it took the creator to make this, but I’m glad he did.

This is one of those comedy videos that’s sure to spread quickly online: Folks will link to it, post it on their blogs and websites, and email their friends and family about it to share the good natured and humorous fun!

This should also be a huge hit with kids; be sure to show it to your preschool kids and older children as well - it will plant huge smiles on their faces!
