ESPN - the best name in sports, right? Also one of the funniest! Take a look at this video with the ESPN guys making hilarious mistakes as they report the news from sports. You’ll see them get so that they can’t even talk straight anymore as their laughter takes over and doesn’t let go!

April 15… today… yuck. If you’re in the US (and many other countries) and you haven’t filed your federal (and in many cases, your state) incomes taxes yet, you better hop to it. Today’s the deadline. You have until midnight tonight. Make sure your return is in the mail to get postmarked today, or better yet, file your returns electronically (I use TurboTax tax preparation and filing software - excellent…) and avoid ultra long lines at the post office today.

Ya know, I always look forward to the first day of spring in March. But the joy and promise of that day is quickly shattered with the quick advance of … tax day, right on the heels of the start of spring. April 15. Yuck.

I couldn’t let this one go by: It’s just too juicy for a funny video clips blog. And hell, the rest of the blogosphere is ablaze with hot posts speculating as to the image reflecting in Vice President Dick Cheney’s sunglasses, I may as well throw my little stick in the fire and make a post about the just released photo!

Take a good look: It looks like a naked woman! And check out the veep’s ooo-la-la smile!

Now, the official word is that all we’re seeing is Cheney’s hand holding a pole… ahem…. a fishing pole, that is.

Yeah, okay, sure, whatever you guys say!

Now all we need is for some slick marketer to develop and start selling “official” Dick Cheney sunglasses that match the style and have a picture of a naked woman on each lens! Get in line everyone!

It’s a rare day indeed today: February 29! 2008 is a leap year. Today is leap day, or Sadie Hawkins Day! Hooray!
