An out-of-control parachutist plows through and takes out soldiers in a military band at Ft. Riley, KS.

Look out below! A military band with drums and sousaphones at the ready at Ft. Riley, KS, are startled and injured when a parachutist having control issues attempts to land but dangerously misses his mark. The parachutist, a civilian, comes down like a bullet slicing right through the military band taking out (and down) at least one soldier who had to be carted away by ambulance. Bodies and instruments go flying. A few others in the band were injured and the parachutist himself ended up with a few scratches and sore muscles.

Here’s the video clip. I love how the sky diver says he was “…having control issues…” Gee, ya think! Duh!

Ouch! If you’re a parachutist, please stay clear of military bases, military bands, all things military, and in fact, all things, except clear ground when you’re landing!
